SENATE BILL 51is a measure, cosponsored with Senator Tupa, which will end the practice of Legislators receiving cash gifts in connection with their service. Currently, Legislators are using this cash gift exemption to "skirt" contribution limits.

SENATE BILL 63is another measure out of the government procurement committee, that Paul introduced with Senator Ron Teck. It should help the State get a handle on all the information/technology contracts, where the State has not done a very good job on. This bill, in short, will require a contract manager for all new high tech contracts.
